Idea: Service Outage Indicator

I'd like some way for Arenanet to indicate when services are temporarily (or permanently) down.

Initial thoughts:

• I'd like to see the status of all the different servers.
• I'd like to see if in game content is disabled / malfunctioning and being fixed (including the gem store)

Basically, anything that lets your players know that you know things are all good or have gone to hell and that you're fixing it.This also helps the player identify if it's a "them" problem or an "anet" problem when they're trying to troubleshoot - which can be valuable information.
