Just want to share my opinion on what I would like to see in the next expansion as an elite specialization for the ranger. Let me know what you all think, thanks!

Overview: In the times when the sea was Jade and the forests were stone, the Luxons formed the turtle, serpent, and crab clans. They were all different in their own way with the exception of one group of people sworn to protect them: the Seaguards. These valiant protectors will often patrol settlements and towns, alongside two or more animal companions. One sees these defenders rushing into battle, ready to block incoming aggressors to protect the innocent and invoke nature's blessing to those around them. In many cases, they invoke totems and animals protect will often rally to their side as well as their pets.

New Weapon: Shield

  1. Griffin's Sweep: slap foe with shield, stunning them. Allies near foe get regeneration.
  2. Oakheart's embrace: raise your shield and protect yourself from incoming attacks. Each attack blocked restores health for you, your pets and nearby allies.

New Skills: Totem (functions similarly to both a signet and a minion ability of the necromancer. Totems grant passive stat boosts to you and your pets while activating the totems summons a pet based on the totems respective category/archetype. You can select animals you summon from pet management menu)

  • Totem of Mending:
  • Passive: increased healing power, you and pet heal based on damage dealt.
  • Active: summon a supportive animal companion.
  • Totem of Resilience:
  • Passive: increased toughness and vitality
  • Active: summon a stout animal companion.
  • Totem of Aggression:
  • Passive: increased precision and ferocity
  • Active: summon a ferocious animal companion.
  • Totem of the Hunt:
  • Passive: increased condition damage and expertise
  • Active: summon a deadly animal companion.
  • Totem of Benevolence:
  • Passive: generates a random boon every ten seconds
  • Active: summon a versatile animal companion.
  • Totem of the Pack (Elite):
  • Passive: boost all stats of you and your pets (+75)
  • Active: All summoned animal companions use their special abilities.

New mechanic:*Nature's Blessing (charged whenever an boon is applied to you and nearby allies. Press F5 to emit a healing pulse plus a removal of one condition every two seconds for 10 seconds)

*Rangers can now have two pets out at once instead of rotating. As before, use F2 to use the special abilities of both pets at once. When activating totems, the animal selected is random. The animal can be recalled at anytime after summoned to revert back to totem, but there will be a cool down.
