Lazarus stuck in Flashpoint storyline

I decided to get the achievements related to avoiding Lazarus's red circles and repairing Taimi's appliances in Living World Story 3, episode Flashpoint. I was fighting against Lazarus, and in his first stage (if I'm right) he kept following me, and I wanted to repair Taimi's 3 appliances which require gliding via updrafts. Lazarus kept spawning on me even while I was midair flying, and eventually I was on the highest platform where Lazarus of course followed with constant spawning behind me. He eventually got stuck there, and he couldn't move or do anything, so I could autoattack him to death. It was kind of funny and immersion breaking at the same time. Sorry, I do not have screenshots.
