level 80 booster lost?

Recommended Posts

I've only been playing for a bit. have several characters. wanted to just boost one to 80 so i can play endgame areas with other friends. I mistakenly did have the Black Lion Chests in my shared inventory spot as i purchased the booster. I have since moved the chests but the booster did not show up in my inventory or in my bank and the gem store wants me to pay full price for another.

Does any one have any ideas of where else i can look to find the missing booster?

I agree that it's most likely to be in your mail.

I haven't bought a level 80 boost myself, but gem store items are normally mailed to you (even if it's an account upgrade like a character slot) and since the Wiki description for the Black Lion Instant Level 80 Ticket says "The Black Lion Instant Level 80 Ticket must be placed into a Shared Inventory Slot in order to be used" it sounds like it doesn't go into the shared slot automatically.

That's how
those
work. The once you purchase separately via Gem Stors, though, are being mailed to you.

~~But to receive one from the mail, you must place it in a shared slot, and cannot get it out afterwards? ~~Edit: checked the wiki:1) you get a Ticket per email: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Instant_Level_80_TicketIf you receive the item from the mail, this ticket goes to your normal inv.2) to use this ticket, you need a free shared inv place, and the use of the ticket places a boost into a shared inv slot https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Level-80_Boost there is stays till you consumed it.

Exactly. So if the OP did not have a free slot but took the item that was mailed to them, something might have gone wrong. Contacting support is the only solution in that case.
