Core gw2 was better with less aoe

I disagree. I think as GW2 has become an older game, it has evolved. GW2 without as many AoEs was incredibly slow and thats good for a game thats brand new, it evolved into a game with plenty of AoE's that helped to make it fast pace. Now is it always good? Some classes could use a tone down, but overall I think it's a solid evolution that helped the game progress from slow as a turtle to fast as a rabbit. As the game has gotten older, the skill ceiling and floor have also gone up slowly or quickly, and I think it's a great sign of progress instead of being a sign of a games demise. Who wants to play the exact same game for 8 years?

It's not AoE that are the issues, it's that there's only "king of the hills".New maps with other gamemodes is what's lacking.Capture the flag: 1 flag in the middle, bring it to your base for some points.Bomber: Bring a bomb to the opposing base (only 1 bomb per team available at all time), each bomb is worth some points. Killing the carrier detonate the bomb.Supply Dolyaks: Each team must escort dolyaks on their own road while impeding the opposite team on their road. Dolyak don't move while contested, dolyak move backward if only enemies are next to them.

Tempest is fine though? Renegade only became nonsense recently and is otherwise useless. Deadeye has always been useless. Those arent great examples.

imagine missing the point this bad

What exactly is your point supposed to be? "New elite specs bad"?
