Sunspear Wisdom BUG

Checked achievements, shows I have collected all 10 pages. I returned to Spearmarshal's Lament. I tried to interact with the pedestal, but the only option is "leave". I cannot place down anything. My friend did the same time as me and was able to progress and get his griffon. This really sucks I spent all day and was excited to get the griffon at the end of the day... but now I have to await support. https://imgur.com/a/cTmiWjsrestarting the game does not help

edit: found a thing on reddit - if anyone else is having this bug, try mounting a griffon and interacting with the pedestal
