Explosives engi

Yes, hes zerker. But when shrapnel grenade is hitting 7.5k at close range, grenade skills are also going to need looked at in addition to explosive entrence. If the aegis grenade barrage bug actually gets fixed, barrage probably also needs toned down.

Kicking myself for thinking things would start looking better when he showed up. Threw everything to hell. Left the game horribly imbalanced for more than half a year and comments like that make me feel like he's happy with the result. Really I am the one who should be shamed. The whole fool me once fool me twice story. You caught me Anet! Hook line and sinker with your false promises yet again. The consistent updates and communication are really blowing me away here.

For example, they could rework shrapnel and put part of its functionality on grenadier.Absolutely no one is using shrapnel without grenades anyway, since they are the only way to make that trait workable. 33% chance on explosion to cause cripple and bleed is not impressive, you can just make the trait reliable by spamming grenades, since these give you 3 explosions at once.

Maybe they could remove the lesser grenade barrage, then let the trait apply 1 stack of bleed for every grenade. No cripple anymore, spammable cripple isn't fun anyway. Of course, the duration of the bleeds should be shorter in PvP to prevent too much condition burst.

Alongside this change, they could rework shrapnel into another trait. Preferably another condition option, it was kinda weird that the grandmaster trait shrapnel was the only trait dealing with condition damage in explosives for so long now. With these changes, we would have grenadier and the new grandmaster trait for condition builds. Maybe they could also change aim assisted rocket to apply a damaging condition, so we can have a condition trait on every tier.
