After 409 hours using torch offhand

i finally got torch mastery tier 1 done. 100 kills baby. 5,000 final blows could take a while.

Use a sigil of fire and hit things that die quick.

You're better off with guardian , berserker, or even ranger. The cooldowns are far lower.

Ya... use guardian. Unless you do not like guardian.

How to get the achievement:

Step 1) Make a class with lower CD Torch skills, for example, Ranger.

Step 2) Level up to 60.

Step 3) Do personal story, join the Vigil

Step 4) During the level 60 quest "Forearmed is Forewarned" there will be an endless stream of rats.

Step 5) Kill rats.

Step 6) Kill more rats.

Step 7) Kill even more rats.

This method can be used for all weapons.

All in all, these achievements are pretty dumb. Especially the off-hand weapon ones, Torch, Warhorn, Focus and Shield. Even more so when conditions don't count as that weapon getting a kill so Torch doesn't even have its high damage output as an advantage (The same is true for Life Siphon for Necro Warhorn)

Also, they actually nerfed Sigil of Fire so it no longer counts towards the weapon that proc'd it, because these achievements weren't tedious enough apparently...

All for a whopping... 11 AP...

Or i wait that anet change skill something usefull and i get 4900 WvW torch kills.

I'd also add: Ranger Bonfire can be set autocast, since its not targetted. Then you can go AFK.

Make sure you take Ambidexterity trait.
