Simple question regarding Healing Power

It can be useful for Rev/Guardian in PvP as they can have some additional heals in their kit outside of their dedicated heal skill. So grabbing Avatar Amulet or Sage's Amulet instead of Marauder's or Carrion respectively, can give some additional sustain without much loss of damage.

You have to look at and invest in Sigils/Runes/Infusion that boost outgoing healing to others.Edit: I'm not sure if a % of your HP level is used to calculate the outgoing side.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Rune_of_the_Monk

Your healing power does affect the healing you give to others, it's just that there's not many skills that actually heal other players for a decent amount so it's not really visible unless you play a healer. You should know that most healing skills that affect others would not heal enough to be useful, even if you have outgoing heal boosts, without healing power.

Healing power affects the scaling of all of your healing skills, abilities and traits. With that said, if you want to play a dedicated healer, it's very useful in PVE, but less useful in WvW and almost useless in sPvP now. Reason - heal modifiers and base heal numbers of all skills were nerfed to the ground in competitive modes.

There are healing traits that do not scale with healing power. Mainly the ones that heal for a percentage of your damage.
