Gourmet Training Achievement

How long do I have to wait for a 'rare' Slab of Poultry Meat to drop for achievement Gourmet Training? Been killing crimson Moas for two weeks non stop.

Do you kill those mobs with your cook that did that has atleast 400 cooking? If I remember correctly only this character works, every other char can't get that drop. And only moas in Diessa Plateau count.

It should be very quick, it's been a while but I don't remember it taking more than 10 kills. But as Miellyn said they will only drop in Diessa Plateau, and the character doing the collection must be at least rank 425 in cooking.

If you've been doing that then I recommend double checking the collection. Unlike the red meat there isn't a new kind of poultry meat you get as a drop as a result of doing the collection, or a dedicated collection item, it's exactly the same as the poultry meat you could get before, so unless you spotted the achievement step completing it's easy to miss when you've gotten it. Check that you haven't actually completed it.

I just completed the achievement last week. Exactly like others have said, double check you have the prerequisites to actually collect the rare slab as the achievement tip doesn't necessarily help. It took me about 10 minutes to land a drop.
