Anyone else experience severe lag and latency issues in WvW recently?

As in, 27 September PST morning (or 27/9 nighttime South East Asian) time sorta lag. Had to cancel my WvW run because 5 minutes skill lag on clash with any of the enemies, even just 1 of them. The ping counter on the settings tab kinda glitched out at one point, showing either 0 or normal ping despite me either taking 5 minutes to WP or just disconnecting altogether.

If it's just us, then probably some sort of tunneling or DDOS attack or whatever from our opponents, which is not unheard of. We didn't have this problem the previous day.
