Core build for story/open world/pvp/wvw

Returning player, very rusty. I want to work my skills with a core build that's good enough to do fine in heart of thorns (cause I remember that was much harder than base game), and will translate fine to wvw/pvp. I don't need to be the best at wvw/pvp, just adequate.

The whole point here is to practice one build without using daredevil or deadeye so I can relearn the old skills and patterns. Condi vs power doesn't bother me; I just want to focus on the game modes and not worry about pressing the wrong buttons because my build is switched.
