Would you guys like to be able to use capes as glider skins?

Kind of like superman. Just a random thought that popped into my head.

I would like the 39k/42k AP backpieces to have gliders.

Hell yes! I want that for the guild cape. Bad.

It's not something I would use. I don't have anything against the idea for other people but I've never seen the appeal of capes and don't use them so I don't think I'd use one as a glider either.

I dont exactly feel like Superman these days. Personal opinion : no. If someone else wants it ? Whatever floats your boat.

I don't think we need any kind of Superman knock offs in GW2.

I'd take literally ANYTHING that is not wings as glider.

I mean, of course resources are better used elsewhere but that wasn't the question. Yes I would find this fun to use on at least one of my alts. An additional needed touch: Whenever I lean back I want my hands on my hips, my elbows sticking out and a conceded look on my face as I descend ?

I think there should be (at least one) cape style glider + backpiece -- but I don't think that every cape in game should become a glider skin. A glider that looks like a cape should be designed and animated specifically for use as a glider.

Gliding like a caped comic book hero is no more ridiculous as standing on flying sheet music while playing a lyre... or standing an a rock that's on fire...
