Ping issues in WvW (2nd try to upload images)

Hope this one goes well.

Recently I was forced to use Exitlag to mitigate my lag issues while playing WvW with my guildies, and it does help for the most part. Then, yesterday happened, where the lag is there despite Exitlag. I had a look around at the charts, and well...

These spike happen when we clash with the other 2 servers while being outnumbered 3 to 1 by both sides. We're already struggling number-wise, and having this stacked on top just kills any progress we had.

I no longer play this game that much outside of my guild's weekend runs, if any.

I've had ping spikes too, makes me not wanna play. Which software did you use to get the ping data/chart from?

Ah sorry for late reply. I use Exitlag, they had a ping chart among other things to track performance. Between all the VPNs I tried, including brand names like NordVPN and ExpressVPN, Exitlag's the best in performance. It's only for gaming though, but it does reduce my average ping from 500-800 to my baseline of 300

its most likely anets amazon servers. i was using a vpn and getting stable ping until anet switched servers. i heard choosing a vpn server (if your vpn allows you to) close to amazons servers can help but i'm not sure on that.

Try exitlag's different choices for server. Sometimes it can make a difference.

Do you perhaps know their approximate location?

Im getting ping spikes as well, pretty much only happens during prime time and particularly bad when 3 blobs are combining.
