Writ of Persistence (Symbol Trait) Rework Idea

Last Balance Patch really took a toll on every Guard who enjoyed to play Power Builds and nerfed every single Main Hand Weapon Guardians use.

Can we therefore maybe rework Writ of Persistence in the way that they keep their current radius to counteract degenerate playstyles, but are casted around your character instead and follow you around while moving? If equipped it would reduce Symbols to "melee only"-range , but offer a cool new way of playing them - something like a weaker version of Jalis Hammers. It would be more focussed damage on targets you follow around instead of damage casted on a whole point and whould be balanced through our bad movement. I think it could revive Berserker Builds and weapons like GS that are hard to get it's skills to hit.

As an alternative, just remove the increased symbol size fully from the trait and replace it with the effect that the guardian receives the full benifit (boons) from any symbols that they place irrelevant as to whether or not they are inside of the symbol, thus removing the limitation of the guard having be forced to be inside of the symbol to gain any benifit from the symbols boons. While this wouldn't have a huge impact on those weapons that drop a symbol at the guardians feet it would be hugely helpful for the ranged symbols.Great examples would be the swiftness from the staff(as it stands to gain the full swiftness by staying in the symbol is utterly counter intuitive)Gaining the might from the scepter without having to be in the symbol.And finally in my personal opinion the best fix for the lackluster damage and usefulness of the DH Longbow would be to change the LB boon from Vigor(which never made sense) to a 1 or 2 second per pulse of Quickness this way you don't need to increase the damage directly but you do increase it indirectly by increasing its rate of fire and of course the Quickness only applies to those inside of the symbol(baring the Guardian with this modification of the trait) and we are only talking about boons so they have their weakness in that they can be corrupted or stripped etc.
