Keeping getting a buzzing sound ONLY when im killing chak garant everywhere else in the game is fine

I'm pretty certain it's not coming from the Gerent but from the ranger's Jacaranda pet (worst sound in the game):

I'll try the repair suggestion thank you for trying to help definitely not the ranger pet only ever happens at chak which is weird :open_mouth:

On each lane or only on Rata Novus lane?

Makes me think, are those robots (sentries and flying laser ones) from Rata Novus near enough to the Chak Gerent meta to hear. Those also make a sort of buzzing sound. Also some normal chak sound a bit buzzing so may it be from a normal chak making the sound. It is really hard to tell without hearing an actual sound clip of it.

The golems we are helping to reanimate are making a sound similar to what the OP describes.

Its happening on all lanes not all the time chak is up from the ground just intermittently thank you all for trying to help

sorry to keep bothering you but ive done a search on my pc for gw2.exe and cant find it lmao only thing showed up was this GFXSettings.Gw2-64.exe

You would look for GW2-64.exe.Regardless, you will find the command line in the 'Properties' of the shortcut that you use to start the game.

If you installed the game in Program Files, move it out of there. Create a separate Games folder (if possible on a non-system partition). Delete the Local.dat and the GW2 temp folders before you launch the game again (or execute the repair). You can find instructions on how to do that, I have posted this a coupl of times recently.

just completely removed gw2 from pc and did fresh install just did a chak no noise :)
