[NA] [PvX] New Outriders [NOR] Family Friendly Guild (est. 1992) Recruiting Active Players!

Who we are:

WWe are a casual, mature, family-friendly guild that has been around since 1992 when it was founded in the game "The Shadow of Yserbius" on the ImagiNation network. NOR is active in several other games such as SW:TOR, Neverwinter, Black Desert, ArcheAge and undoubtedly more to come.

NOR has a variety of playstyles and commitment levels from laid back to desiring to play the most challenging content, such as Raids and T4 Fractals. All are welcome to pursue their main interests who believe in the core principles that have made NOR great for decades.

"To have fun and help others do the same" is the philosophy that guides us. We're seeking active members, both new and experienced, who are looking to become a part of our long and successful history.

What we offer:

• Weekly scheduled events for fractals/dungeons, raids, guild missions, hero point trains, open world events and more! Event times are typically evenings at 9pm EST and Sundays at 1:30pm EST.
• Windswept Haven Guild Hall (level 57 and growing) with all maxed boosts; Scribing station, Arena, Guild Portal, and more!
• Dedicated website with complete roster information, forums, event calendar, and more.
• Discord server for chat and voice. NOR is an official Discord partner!
• Support for other MMOs. The friends you make here in the NOR branch of GW2 will be with you as you explore future games.

What we expect:

We are looking for friendly, mature people (comfortable with a "PG" atmosphere) who want to make NOR their home in GW2. Members are expected to be active and represent NOR 80-90% of their time. We have no problems with people joining "specialty" guilds for certain aspects of the game like RP or WvW, but NOR should be your main guild. If you are looking for a community, rather than just some folks to hang out with on occasion, we may be the place for you!

I have to say, in the years I have been playing GW2, I have been in a few guilds ranging from the newly founded to the massive, family-friendly to mature, and semi-hardcore to casual; even helping to found and manage a guild. All the time I was searching for something that fit what I wanted. Always searching, but never quite finding that good fit. Well, I have known NOR for almost 2 years now and over the course of that time there is not a day I remember where I felt disappointed. The culture, the welcoming feel, the activity level, the helpfulness of its members, and the fact that being a multi-game guild means I don't have to go it alone if I try a new game. I think that is one of the most exciting aspects of NOR. I can take a break from GW2 and still play another game with my NOR guildmates, then come back to GW2 later and never feel like I skipped a beat or have become the outsider; because I still know everyone.

If you are looking for a family-friendly, helpful, and active guild; active both in game and in Discord, then NOR is what you're looking for. From the weekly schedule to warm laughter and welcoming members I am positive that you will feel right at home.
