game client lost its connection

I didn't play this game for last 2 year, but desided to come back. 3 days ago I bought expansions and started playing. But my game expiriens was destroed by "The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again" (7:11:3:202:101) every 2-8 minutes(!!!). I checked everything, but it doesn't work! My internet isn't fast, but other games work much more stable without "surprises". Is there some hints to fix this problem, or I should think about refunds?

    Connectivity issues are server-side, so using a VPN is unlikely to help.
    Many people have problems with connectivity or lag.

    Allegedly, Arenanet is looking into the issue.
    But there haven't been any results yet.

  • I have same issue with op. Other games are pretty fine, only gw2 has had bad server response like over 600 ping which is literally unplayable. Is there large internet traffic while holiday? idk why. i have to stay out of the game while unfortunately.
