Patch Notes: "Glider skins can now be unlocked in PvP and raids."

Maybe I'm just completely dense, but I'm not sure how this works. Which glider skins can be unlocked, and how? Or does this mean will there be future PVP reward tracks/drops from raid bosses that include new glider skins...? Or...something else entirely?

It means if you buy a glider skin from the gemstore and you’re in pvp or raids you can click the skin to unlock for account wardrobe

I thought the same at first, it's not very well worded.

I wish they'd do this with other consumables though. I can understand not letting you use certain boosters and things in raids and PvP, but it's annoying when you can't open a bag or something just because of the map you're on. Especially since the PvP lobby is one of the maps people use to get quick access to the bank and TP.

You are not the only "dense" player Batel. I also didn't understand it (I thought that gliders skins were now included as random drop from the leveling chests, like those rare ascended gear/weapons that sometimes you get in PvP and WvW). Thanks Danikat!
