Superior Rune of the Deadeye Speculation

So seeing as how Deadeye is a somewhat of a wild card, what do you think will be on it? At least one of the effects will most likely have something with Cantrips, considering that most of the Elite Spec runes offered some buff to their respective skill tree.

(1): +25 Power(2): +35 Ferocity(3): +50 Power(4): +65 Ferocity(5): +100 Power(6): You deal 5% more damage to foes outside the range threshold 900units 

If i had to have a wild guess....

I can't imagine Deadeye getting just raw power from his rune. DD was an in your face type of player, and got a mix of power and toughness, and a critical hit.

My wild guess would be something like this.

"After using a skill, next basic attack will deal 5% more damage"

1: +25 Precision2: +35 Ferocity3: +50 Precision4: +65 Ferocity5: +100 Precision6: Deal 7% more damage to targets outside 600 range

i hope it will be something more interesting rather than just stats bonus... i mean we have scholar already.Would be nice to have some synergy with cantrips, so ele could use it too

I tend to agree as in,

1>+6 all stats2>decrease ICD of cantrips 5 percent3>+ 10 all stats4>+ 10 percent boon duration5>+ 16 all stats6>On using a cantrip gain 3s stealth (icd 45 seconds)

I'd just stay with Scholars or take another elite classes runes, some of those others weren't bad. 15 seconds of might isn't horrible I guess, that can add up pretty fast.

same, with the Three Round Burst which gives 9 Might its not really that great. So i stay with either Eagle or Sholar

Likely more usable in non rifle non p/p build where there not ready sources of might. I really can not see traiing more then 2 cantrips so with the long cooldown on the same these do not overly impress.

It is the following:+25 Power+35 Ferocity+50 Power+65 Ferocity+100 PowerGain 2 Might for 15 seconds when you use a Cantrip

So, strictly worse Scholar runes.

I personally feel the 6th piece bonus should be changed to give +10% damage when kneeling.

Couldn't happen. Runes have to be fully usable by multiple classes, and Deadeye is the only one that can kneel (and most likely the only one that ever will). That's why Superior Rune of the Engineer works off of "bundles" instead of Kits, for example.

A damage bonus for being outside 600 range would have worked, though.

then change it into "while standing still"

Would be better if it was 15% of your HP instead of vit.

Lol like the spec needed more might generation. This topic can be closed since this is what the rune is going to be. Just lol.
