Dolyaks are not always receiving boons

I play a ranger with Resounding Timbre trait granting Regen and Swiftness when I use the shout "We heal as one!". I alternate between this and Call of the Wild to provide constant swiftness to myself and surrounding allies. Occasionally dolyaks are not receiving the boons.

The last time it happened I found someone escorting a dolyak and I came up to them and used "We heal as one!" and Call of the Wild and only the other player received swiftness or regeneration. The dolyak did not receive anything and I was standing next to it. I would understand if there were a number of allies (NPC or player) as I can only grant to so many. Any ideas or have others had issues with this?

It's called a bug, a bug which has been present since launch and still not fixed.

Basically the dolly lags out, you think you are standing next to the dolly but it is actually a little distance ahead of you.

If we havent had a fix in 5 years, dont expect one any time soon!

There was also a bug which aegis prevented next boon to be applied long ago but no clue if it was fix or not. (for any target ally player, npc and self)

Is this related to swiftness not applying on players as well or is there just a cap on boon application after a duration had been reached?

I know on Engineer over time with streamlined kits I can get like 4 minutes of swiftness stacked up but on a guardian with retreat and staff I can never get above 2 minutes because it just won't apply the boon if I'm above a minute with the shout or the symbol.

Two ways to check if the dolly is with you:1: look on the mini map. Your dot should be right on the dolyak. If it's bugged, you will see it's location on the map (sometimes)2: stand on it. If no bubble in a couple of seconds, you aren't actually standing on it.
