Anet freed PvEers from having to do world completion in WvW for their legendaries

It's time for them to free WvWers from having to do PvE world completion. It's just tedious and bad game design having to do world complition more than once for making new legendaries. Free us from PvE!

If I play a stupid build, I deserve to die.
If I beat people on a stupid build, I deserve to get away with it.

They didn't remove it for the PvE players though.
They removed it because WvW players complained about PvE players taking up spots for sightseeing and lollygagging.
Also there was the problem that the gift of exploration was just unattainable for some people because their server never held the necessary structures.
These problems don't exist in PvE. There's not a single vista or point of interest that you can't reach on your own.

I agree though that the Gen1 legendaries require an excessive amount of map exploration. Gen2 and 3 are ok, because they require only the expansion maps, which isn't much.

I guess it's a good thing that you don't have to do world Completion then.
After all, you don't have to make a legendary.

You'd have a better argument if you asked for a legendary accessory. Namely since you can't have more than one and legendary armory is not out.
    Weapons/armor/rings? Forget it.

Not saying you're wrong, but the pve'ers who waited weeks to snag Blackgate Garrison's point of interest and vista (for example) back in 2012 were much louder (at the time) than any wvw'er main concerned about a pve'er taking up their spot on the map. (Were queues a thing back then?)

As for the thread, I do wish they'd introduce a way for wvw'ers to attain stat-changeable pseudo-legendary weapons without an obscene amount of pve required. Even if that pve can mostly be droned through on the side whilst binging Netflix. Most wvw'ers don't care about the skin, they just want to not have to throw gold and time at changing around their builds every time the meta shifts. Not unfair. It is quite clear, however, the developers want all players to at least dabble in pve for the shiniest toys.

I live quite long on this planet and doing map completion in gw2 was the most boring thing I ever did.
Using my toilet gives me more entertainment than this tedious, monotonous, life leeching kitten. Never again!
