Glyph of Stars Interaction with "on elite skill usage" Runes

Was fooling around with my legendary sigils when I came across a weird interaction with the "On elite skill" usage runes like rune of the zephyrite or rune of the ice. It appears the glyph of stars does not trigger the runes' skill usage. In my testing the rune of the zephyrite gives superspeed when an elite skill is used. I was able to use entangle and receive the superspeed but did not receive superspeed during or after the channel animation of the glyph of stars. I tested this effect in normal and celestial avatar AND in and out of combat with no superspeed given.

This got me thinking that there are some weird interactions of this glyph with some other runes such as rune of the druid which gives the +500 healing power during the channel of the glyph, not after. Where in the text of the glyph, it says after.

I'd like to compile a list of runes that interact weirdly with Glyph of the Stars in this report:

• Rune of Altruism - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect
• Rune of Leadership - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect
• Rune of Lyssa - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect

• Rune of Surging - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect.
• Rune of the Citadel - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect
• Rune of the Firebrand - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect
• Rune of the Ice - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect

I think you misunderstand something here. There is the CAST time and the CHANNEL time. This skill has an instant cast time, this is also why when you get hit by a cc you go on full cd. It works as intended.

• Rune of the Zephyrite - Not giving the "on Elite" usage effect

I did only try resistance in the pvp lobby and can confirm it does not give you any boon.
