Soulbeast "Live Fast" trait doesn't work with pet's Beast ability

There are only two Beast abilities I know of: the traditional one with the pet, and the ability when you are merged with your pet (f5). The Live Fast trait doesn't apply when you try to use a Beast ability with your pet active (i.e: the pet isn't merged with you). The tooltip of the pet's ability says it is a "Beast" ability, so Soulbeasts should be able to get that quickness buff both inside the formation and outside of it.
