Wth, I got the title like 6 years ago and never had a problem with it. I tried logging off and back in again but did not fix it. What is going on? This happened a few years ago as well.Eventually it'll be fixed, in the meantime you can kind of fix it by logging into GW1 and going to HoM and fiddling with it between account-wide and character-wide.(^Does not always work, but usually does.) IIRC, you can correct it by logging out, visiting the Hall of Monuments reward calculator and inputting your account, and then logging back in. Just a flesh wound.3589 Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 That’s a bug that appeared a year or two ago, after a fix where people got 500 AP and all titles from gw2 when they made a new character. Illconceived Was Na.9781 Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 It's actually a recurring bug that happens whenever the GW2 servers lose contact with the GW1 server that keeps track of people's HoM points. The reason for the letter (and removal of title/points) is that there was a worse bug a few years back in which people who hadn't earned GWAMM or HoM/50 were given credit as if they had. The initial solution (just adjusting everyone back) didn't stick, so ANet set things up so that GW2 constantly checks to make sure. The end result is that no one gets 500 AP/GWAMM without the GW1 accomplishments any more (no false positives) but lots of people sometimes lose their 500/GWAMM (false negatives).Fortunately, this always fixes itself now. Close the game and reopening sometimes does it, although some people report having to launch GW1 before restarting GW2. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
