How can I get this as a pure WvW player?

LW3 currencies from rewards tracks. Wvw legendary backpack, possibly a precursor.

Bitterfrost Frontier, Lake Doric, Bloodstone Fen, Ember Bay, Draconis Mons, or Siren's Landing. If you logged into the game at any point from like, a few months after HoT Launched until PoF, you can go to your Story Journal and activate one of the Living World Stories. It will take an hour or so to play through the storyline enough to unlock their Reward Track for WvW.

After that, go back to WvW, finish the Reward Track a few times (choose the map-currency from the box at the end, which will be something like, winterberries, petrified wood, orrian pearls, etc). Then return to the Living World Map once you have enough currency and buy the backpiece and select TB stats.

I suggest choosing the "A Crack in the Ice" story if it is available to you, which will unlock BitterFrost Frontier. That map you can REALLY EASILY walk around and gather Winterberries (currency used for ascended backpiece). This would be the fastest way to get what you want.

which you need unbond magic which can be salvage from the tokenif u wan to get backpiece via ls routei would suggest the bloodstone backpiece since the stats can be reset with the purchasable tool. so u dont have to purchase another backpiece in future if you want to change build.

After OP unlocks the Reward Tracks though, its super easy just to get a bunch of different ones. If you've got the inventory space, its way more convenient to just equip a different backpack. xD
