No pain no gain

Today i did fractals and noticed that there is little i can do when im playing against the "no pain, no gain" instability in a power build, and noticed that elementalist need at least some kind of skill to dispell boons from the enemy.

Or maybe, how do you deal with this instability in a power build?

It's not the elementalist's job to deal with boon removal.

Only Mesmers, Thieves, Necros and I guess Warriors after the expansion can do it.
