Seafarer's rest is linked with FoW which is empty because almost all of them transfered out of FoWthe following image show you the queue numbers after reset in sfr.2 maps empty and 2 maps with queue. That is a very high populated server with a linked server looks like.3iKHIpW.png

I think that's what he's saying. Isn't SFR one of the EU servers with some non-EU Prime "off-hours" too? Since population is averaged also over 24/7 it means if they've got "off-hours" they won't likely be strong in the prime time.

"Full" these days actually means "Locked". ANet just hasn't updated the jargon.

ANet locks worlds to make it possible to set up things so that each side (host plus links) will have comparable populations. Population is determined by a formula that weights short-termers less than hard core (for the relevant measuring periods) and doesn't count 100% PvErs at all. There's no way to tell by personal observation whether your world has more players or not, because each of us only see a small aspect of the population. We can see queues for the short periods we're on, but whether things are nearly queued. We can see zergs, but not roamers (and there are always more roamers than we think).

ANet's formulas also consider parts of the scoring, which they use as a proxy for figuring out effectiveness. You can imagine that a consistently T4 world getting 100 people per map regularly might not be as competitive as a T1 world that only has 80/map.

tl;dr showing a screenshot of a moment in time doesn't tell us anything about whether ANet's formulas are working. "Full" just means "Locked"; it's a tool for allowing attrition to decrease pops, so that future links/matchups are as close to balanced as practical.

Well, SFR just dropped from FULL to VERY HIGH so it obviously has lost players. FoW (where I play) never had any players and has been in the MEDIUM (or as it should read COMPLETELY EMPTY) for several weeks now.

Yes, month back or so we had queues at reset evening in every map. Now we don't. Players have either moved to other servers or left the game.

SFR start having queue since around 18:30, and lose all the queue before 00:00. SFR is a EU prime time server. we dont have night cap crews
