Pretty sure a spellbreaker who didn't use rush, bulls charge, defense traitline and stances would be far worse than reaper. But sure let's pitchfork with sensationalism that accomplishes nothing.

  • Its venting. You head into delirium when being munted this regularly. Alot of the things said are pretty excitable, but I put it down to passion and the love of the reaper. We can see that it has so much promise...its funky.. if only theyd just get it right or close enough to it.

GW2 is shallow enough, mechanically that very few true, active mechanics define any class from another. Everybody does DPS, self-heals and evades while dealing damage, so the only way to define classes is by one-note descriptions like "portal bot" or "PS." Even words like "power" and "condi" can encapsulate an entire class. The game is just that mechanically crippled. Reaper doesn't have unique things, so if you were to look at similar classes (like generic melee warrior #2088) and strip away unique buffs and/or extra passives which keep powercreep at bay, it turns into other classes (like Reaper).
