Bookcase in the home instance.

Recently I was browsing on my account and I came across a fair amount of lore books, books from collection items. So I came up with an idea ... instead of deleting the item (lots of people do it), why not make some achievment or sale in NPC a Bookcase in the home instance, to save those books? It would be interesting.For some people like the lore of the game.Kind a library in the home instance.

It's a good idea and been suggested a lot in some form or another. Personally I would be happy just to have a new tab in the hero panel where they can be uploaded to be read like in the story journal.

its a old QoL that i suggest from time to time on foruns: some kinda of built-in-game lore stuff, a library or "lore collection" dictionary. also a "unlocked cinematics" library.

Very needed, IMO. Its a shame to not read all there is to investigate... but at the same time is just stupid to try to read them when your group is waiting for you, or when a dozen mobs are trying to kill you.

I would love either a way to put all of my collected lore books in either 1) my home instance or 2) Guild Hall.

I'd definitely enjoy a library in home instance where I can see the books/etc. I've come across whilst playing. Be kinda cool if there was a display area that one could look at the unique items we've been rewarded during play as well. Kind of like a hall of monuments or something.

I was hoping more of a Hall of Monuments style of place to put all of our trophies and books. As far as I know, only people who have played GW Eye of the North have access to the Hall of Monuments. I wish there could be a GW2 wing where we can put nice trophies and our books. So that our achievements feel more tangible. I think by actually being able to fill up a trophy area, that would give us a bigger incentive to do the achievements.

If it makes you feel any better, the Hall of Monuments in GW2 is completely empty. So It's not like what you have in Guild Wars 1 made any difference in that instance.

Yes yes yes please! There is a wiki but having a bookcase/console to access the lore you've discovered would be loved in the home instance. The instance would be a little bit more than a farming hub, which is nice.
