Why excatly isnt 5 Ranger meta?

Thinked this thorougly, 5 rangers join the team, EVERY ranger has a pet. thus making it basically a 10vs5. All rangers can just put bears on the frontile while they dish out severe damage from the far. Wouldnt be surprised if i started seeing more of this now that people know how powerful it is.

We don't use this strategy typically because it is too op and most people feel bad having to resort to 10vs5 to win. It is just a gentleman's rule that everyone in pvp follows, kind of like how people stopped using path of corruption on scourge since it became bugged.

Same reason why we don't do 5 MinionMancers (25 vs 5). It's just completely unfair so all PvP players are a gentlemen about not doing it.

Some stupid idiotic Passive Invu Proc would kick in and the dmg would be overhealed in the meanwhile?

Standard ranged Ranger is pretty gimp in PvP. They are scaled for sitting at max distance and keeping the pet alive. Problem is every profession can jump to melee distance and the pet dies like lighten to condi spam. Switching to melee isn't really an option giving the powerful anti-melee specs current available this session.

You can't hold a point from distance and your pets die inside 5 to 10 seconds against a condi spammer.

Druid is about the only viable pvp option a Ranger has and frankly you don't play Ranger to wield a toothpick.

Soulbeast might be better as never tried but pets are extremely weak this session - there Health clearly hasn't be scaled for the newer PoF specs.

BEARBOW TOO STRONK

5 spirit rangers would be cool. You would confuse the enemy and make them die of laughter.

Iboga and Gazele are pretty good for the CC. Nothing like having your iboga yank an enemy from the point . Condi soulbeast is fairly strong and dagger axe is a good melee choice. You do lose the range from longbow.

5 thieves all running thieves guild, its like 15v5!
