Character not logging into same area that they logged out.

A minor issue. But, I noticed just a few minutes ago that one of my characters logged into the game on the complete opposite side of the map that he logged out of (Straits of Devastation). I just tested again and he logged back into the world at the same wrong spot as the first time First, I zoned out near the Sentry Waypoint. Second time I zoned out at the Compass Bridge. Both times I zoned back in at Bramble Pass Waypoint. My character progress seems to be saved. I seem to still have the same items and buffs that I should. Another weird thing is that on the character select screen, it says that this toon is located in Malchor's Leap (which it clearly is not).
