New Legendary Focus: The Binding of Ipos [Preview Window]

What the fragility is that ugly claw thing? Remove please? Just my thoughts on preview after I saw stars from laughing so hard at how badly focus players got trolled by it.

That looks mental, really like the creativity though. I'll be sticking with my harp.

Thank you Justine, that sure looks much better than Gen 1 Focus.

The scaling of this has to be wrong for the preview, I previewed it on my necro and it was massive, so big that I would never want to actually make it, this really needs toned down, the animations look ok, but the effects are way to big, unless you are running the biggest norn you can make of course.

The giant claw puts me off. I love everything else about it, though. And I like the precursor step skins too. I may have to make this thing, much though I thought I would never make another after HOPE.

I note in that video the chaos gloves do show through and mitigate the deformation look. I wonder if any other gloves will show as well? I only previewed on a medium armor character wearing a Scout's Coat so normally gloves don't show on him. The massive amount of purple in the hand and footsteps may limit how good it looks on my focus users, hmm.

Should be as people had it crafted within minutes of the episode being released.

This is why dye channels are needed on weapons, that Legendary just screams Mesmer, but again, as nice as it looks its not really going to be helpful, in battle it will disappear, and most people that get into zerg battles be it WvW or Large scale PvE events, will need to turn down settings, just to stop the massive ingame lag,

But 10/10 to the GFX artists that work on this game.

Would look better without the dumb book.

The char is walking, can you imagine how it looks when jumping and running around?

I wish we could get the giant claw WITHOUT the book....Then we could finally have some pure epic dark legendary

The Book alone would be nice too to actually have that Magical Spellbook look without having to take that evil dark claw look with it.... But now you cant be a "good" mage with that epic book....

So i cant use it for my Ele and i cant use it for my necromancer... It should have been 2 separate legendary foci in my opinion tbh :/

Now there are 4 legendaries that doesn't make me puke. Nice.

If I ever get my necromancer to level 80 and if I'm using foci on him I'll have to get this.

After seeing this, i've changed my mind about which legendary i want to set as a long term goal. This one.

I think this is really well done, it feels different and certainly unlike anything currently in the game. A true legendary item, especially for a focus which in general are a bit boring and small.

One more ticked off the (ugly - never make) list, thank goodness.

Now just to see what Scepter and GS end up as - hopefully I don't like both of those either so I don't feel enticed into the tedium of another gift of maguuma...
