Living World 4 Portal Tome

No, no, no, no and no. ANET why would you do this?I get that LW3 and LW4 are separated by expansions, but there is simply no reason to do this.Think about it, if someone does not have access to a LW episode regardless of season then they cannot purchase the teleportation scroll to the episodes new area anyway.So there is no reason to make separate tomes for new scrolls just because they are from different season.The tome was added to save up space, so making multiple tomes contradicts it's very purpose.Please change this, you can just add a new opening screen when the new scroll is added, which will first ask us to select a season and then the scroll of the chosen season.

This.They should've kept it as a "Living World Portal Tome" that you can access all in just one thing. Making it 2 separate items goes against their lie about "We take it in our duty to try to be careful when it comes to player's inventory space".

Yeah, a LW book with X chapters ( as Living Stories ) would be the best thing.But i suppose i can wait.

You did great with keyring, raid, ls, and much more!This is a minor issue.

A minor issue for sure at the moment, but I hope it gets solved in future seasons. I guess we have to wait another 3 years for a proper portable bookcase. B)

Can we just pause for a moment and be thankful they added the tome with the first episide and not on the last episode like in LS3?

i just noticed that when i get there to take a portal and its TRULY ANNOYING.There is no reason at all behind that.As above.Merge tomes.

Happy they have added portal scrolls. Still think this was a great addition to the game overall and think older zones should be retro-fitted some. I agree though, I think that you should be able to purchase a portal tome from either LS3 or LS4 and scrolls only from within those new maps (showing you have rights per game code to access that content) but then put all scrolls into 1 tome. If the concern is screen UI as the list grows break the UI into Chapters and then maps. If its a concern that people might gain access to a map that they don't have content unlocked for, keep the scrolls only in those zones and don't introduce vendors outside of it. Please consider this, it was a big plus to a QoL item. Thank you in either case, these are nice additions. Good gaming!

Probably the only reason they've splitted them is so that people have to buy more shared slots again to keep things shared across their characters :s

I’ve been thinking about this some more, and I’d like to see an interface like LFG, where each LW is a category, plus a “Super Fun Magic Places” category for everything else, and the ability to mark and sort any number of them as favorites that appear outside categories at the top. Lose the whole dialogue interface.

Please merge tomes. You can’t even buy the pass to the new map unless you have access to it so there’s no reason to make two carriers.

Wouldn't mind a larger book of "Encyclopedia of Living Stories" or something kind of collection to acquire.

You're all missing why it was done this way...you can only purchase and use the Tomes/Scrolls for that respective LWS, so if one player only has LWS3, they can only buy the Scrolls and Tomes from LWS3, same goes for LWS4. If you have both seasons and subsequent seasons then each season gets it's own Tome so you can have those Scrolls and Tomes from the Seasons you have access to...it makes complete sense, most of you just don't want to see it.

Sorry. That doesn’t explain why you can’t have one Tome to put all the passes into. What is so special about some people not having access that requires all people to have separate Tomes?

The portals are just pocket waypoints. If you have that pocket waypoint you can jump to that map. If you don’t, you can’t. So why does that require a different Tome?

No, I think you are the one who does not want to see things. Why do the portal scrolls all have to be in different tomes? If you did not have S3 would a tome that only had the S4 scrolls in it be some huge problem?

They will give us a tome containing tomes in a future release

Maybe they cannot do multiple levels within those times meaning they can’t split it first by season and then by scroll. If they were to include them then it would end up being that they get added after the LS3 ones.

Nice if they fix it, but arent you guys overreacting a little? It's just 1 additional item for almost a years worth of content.We even got a lot of space freed up with the recent keychain patch.

Why do you need to split it? Look at how little screen real-estate S3 took, just add S4 to the same list. Even with their double spaced layout you could probably put 3 or 4 seasons in there.

2 tomes is still better than having 12 scrolls :P

That literally makes 0 sense. You can't even start ls4 without PoF. There is no reason to have more scrolls
