Assuming I understand what you're trying to say... I disagree. the elementalist focus is one of the best tool sets in the game. It has Defiance Bar breaks, it has auras, long-duration Fire field, and amazing projectile destroy.

TBF, its kind of hard to make an ele weapon that can't have a well rounded tool set, due to each weapon having at least 8 weapon skills, versus a maximum of 5 weapon skills for any other weapon/class combination.

Focus on ele is fine. Great even. What game have you been playing? O_o
