Excellent NPC Designs, but why not go Further?

This first chapter of LW Season 4 has some excellent npc designs, ranging from enemies only (dervishes) or both teams (paragons). They even gave them moves that are similar to their GW1 counterparts, which is really neat as you can see Sunspear Paragons buffing you with burning or dervishes using scythe attacks.

Or a certain encounter where a boss uses Dervish Avatar elites.

But I was thinking, wouldn't it be neat to add these GW1 classes as a spec? Except here's where it's different from current elite specs....

Dervish and Paragon would be UNIVERSAL elite specs unlocked by a Mastery tree. As in, available to all classes (aka reminiscent of GW1 subclassing). To avoid balance shenanigans, they could even be PvE only elite specs. I feel like this would be an excellent use of both the Mastery System and the Elite Spec system. As of now, the elite specs don't feel too interesting (IMO) as they are just another traitline, often making the core class stronger in a general sense (aka direct upgrades). There are, of course, some that have different gameplay styles (not necessarily stronger or weaker but just different), which is fine, but enabling an Elite Spec that you could master outside of your class would open up a lot of interesting builds, whether compounding on a class's strengths or diversifying it.
