Race around Divinity's Reach.

I like these mount races quite a bit on the path of fire expansion, and it is nice to see new ones added. I was thinking it would be good to have some different music during this one race though, since the regular theme playing in the town doesn't fit the season as well as it could. It's a bit quiet and the race is fairly long. Some kind of Christmas theme may work better, or even the song used in the expansion.

Agreed, the races in general are fun -- as long as you don't get knocked off repeatedly by AoE-and-CC-spamming enemies. There are no enemies on this one, so it's definitely relaxing. Plus, for the sake of non POF-owners I really appreciate the addition of a mount for rent. A special soundtrack for the race would be neat -- I remember that the Sanctum Sprint tune was part of the reason I always enjoyed that activity.

There's also an achievement to do the race on foot (without a mount), but it doesn't provide any AP, just something to do.

Anyhow, well done with this race Anet, you took everyone into consideration :)

I liked this addition to Wintersday. I did it once mounted and once on foot so far.

I remain hopeful that both Lunar New Year and SAB will get a race. A race around Rata Sum with holographic creatures and an NPC riding a Super Adventure Cloud (akin to the glider but as a toy) running it could be very fun.

And something tells me Gourdon should return for both of them.
