Orimidu.9604
Title. Since the patch extends condi duration in an effort to curb burst damage, is Griever's now viable over Viper's in raids?
Patty.3268
Griever's viabilty should be the same as pre-patch, since most skills which got condi duration increased and stacks reduced, deal about the same or slightly higher total damage now. Just over a longer period of time. But Viper still works the same: 50% more condi duration --> 50% more condi damage, 100% more condi duration --> 100% more condi damage, and so on. reikken.4961
If you're running condi in any situation where you want to kill things that don't take like a full minute+ to kill, use grieving.

Give uop. Give up and go for ANY other class because they ALL do condi better.
Genesis.5169
I'm not sure atm. If your doing end game PvE content like CMs or raids that are heavy on phases i do not recommend condition builds i'm doing way less damage on fights with just moderate phases. How ever i play a mesmer so experience may very given some phase changes destroy my phantasms mesmers get hurt a little more then other classes. I haven't done in OW content in awhile so i am unsure if tagging is an issue like is was for vanilla if some one can chime in on this that would be great i'm not really an OW guy.
