Anyone else lost their gems after the new update?

I had some gems and my friend themselves had about 200 which both of us is now set to 0.

I think they are having some networking issues. Maybe it's having an issue pulling up some of your information into the UI? I know since I patched, I have been having a really hard time trying to sell things on the TP (same UI) without getting all sorts of errors. Also intermittent login server issues going back to the character select screen and trying to swap characters.

I just checked, i still have mine.

Yeah, I can't log in right now. They spout the usual lie that it's my firewall or router, but networking is fine.

Logon servers are probably getting DOSed.

Try again with a different instance of the game. It should pick a different logon server.

People in game are talking about network issues, and i myself have gotten the "can't connect to the server" pop up but nothing happened, i could still walk around and craf my dailies. I'll log in later or tomorrow to see if i still have that items or if the server rolled back or something,

Correction: ANet, from my perspective you are being attacked by a man-in-the-middle attack coupled with the (I presume) the DDoS guessed earlier. I recommend you lock down all of your login servers until you ascertain the issue/attacker and verify that they can't compromise you. Contact me via email if you want to know why I suddenly changed my mind. It's a pretty darned good reason, but I can't post it here.

Report it. Let them know you had gems. But least you can sign in at the moment. I got kicked and couldn’t sign back in.

It's a server issue once you log in everything will be as it was gems etc. No need to panic.

Took me slightly longer than usual to log in, but once I was in all 155 of my gems were still there.

(But then I'm on the EU servers and going by the time most the issues were posted I'm guessing it was the NA servers people had trouble with.)
