Looking for players who Ecto Gamble

Let me start this by saying I know its RNG so with that out of the way.

I hit the 100 rolls last night and got the Collector's Edition Sandstorm, I did about 75 rolls yesterday and it varied results up and down, in the end I lost around 1000g and 2000 or so ecto, no big deal,

So i figured why not its going to average out sooner or later, but in the last 10 or so rolls it has returned 25g and 50 ecto 8 or 9 times, which i know its RNG return, but someone i got talking to ingame tonight also seen the same results, so i asked my guild, and several of them also had the same results, once getting the Collectors Edition Sandstorm,

So basically the question is for those who have gambled a lot of ecto, did you see the same results, is this a waste of time now, as it seems that when you hit the 100th roll of this, its no longer RNG its just no return at all,

Again, im not overly bothered about the loss, just kinda curious if this is worth it now i have the Collector's Edition Sandstorm.

This is about the Tarrktun gamble, and it happened shortly after it was added to the game. I went from 0 to 100 for the achievement with one result (150g + 150 ecto) turning up so often, it kept me going without ever being in the red. Thanks to the 2000g prize turning up twice I actually made a respectable profit.

A few weeks ago, I also went for 100 Sandstorm gambles, and I also happened to have a bad final stretch.

It's just RNG, I haven't reached the 100 yet because somewhere around 40 I hit a terrible streak of minimum return for somewhere around 20 tries and haven't quite recovered from that yet since I've never saved much gold.I do still gamble occasionally whenever I have gold to spare and doing it just once a week feels a lot less punishing when you hit a bad streak :)So I unfortunatly can't tell you about my experience after getting the Collectors edition but I would assume you just hit a bad streak.

Ecto gambling is a gold sink, you are supposed to lose in the long run, just like in a casino. The more you gamble and the smaller your stakes, the more you lose. No surprise here to be honest.

The game currently throws gold and ecto at you, its far easier to make 1000g now than it was 2 years ago, ecto was at 18s last time I checked also.

Yea I know its designed to be a gold sink in the long run, but that's over an average, the average loss per roll is -9 ecto and -7g, my last 10 rolls returned a loss of nearly 200 etco and 75g per roll, that is way way way above average, and others have been getting the same results, so when you hit the 100 rolls it either turns the RNG to 0 meaning you only get the very worst hand everytime, which means when you complete this achievement its then pointless to continue.

It if was only me getting the lowest return time after time id say RNG, the fact ive spoken to several people who are getting the same suggests its more than RNG once you hit the 100 rolls.

Given the current price of ecto it would make sense for anet to up the lowest return possible, to remove the ecto / gold from the game.
