Westenev.5289 Posted December 21, 2017 Share Posted December 21, 2017 Flapping outside of a dive does not affect horizontal speed, as far as I'm aware. Diving and Pulling up are what affects your speed, while flapping maintains your height. Alternatively, if you graze an object (but don't outright collide), your griffon won't disapear, but you will lose all of its forward dive momentum.
