mercury ranique.2170
I'm old school and enjoy running dungeons. It seems more often people do not understand why and how to stack. So a short explaination on this new forum. Why do people sometimes stack:There are three reasons.1: Maximum use off AOE skills that heal and buff and also maximum effect of combo's2: Easy rezzing as all are in the same spot3: Some enemies have a huge hitbox (area where you can hit them) that clips through a wall. This means we can hit them, but they get obstructed when hitting usHow to stack:1: First make sure to understand that when 2-3 people in your party are standing in the same place, they expect you to stack.2: once stacked it happens that one person is going to pull. Do not follow then3: once the fight is started avoid usage of skills that breaks the stack. It is perfectly ok to dodge or leap into the wall in order to use those skills or avoid attacks, but avoid things in the opposite direction

In SE people still stack in P1 for the golems and in P2 for the champs just before the final boss fight, as well as the groups in the first bit. Omega.6801
Ppl liked to stack there because of the ele gs summon. stacking there now is mere convenience as it is harder for 5 players to not stack when there's no corner to cram into ;) Otherwise, sound advise, there are a few exception to "we stack everything everytime" but for dungeons stacking is sound advice. Khisanth.2948
Stacking is still useful for cleaving or to stop the mobs from bouncing around too much.
