S9 platinum/legend matchmaking feedback poll

This season Anet made anyone above 1.6k rating unable to duo in an attempt to improve match quality (and maybe to cut down on wintrading, with no success whatsoever).

If you play in the plat/legend rating range where the change could be felt, what did you experience?

faq. cant change my vote actually wanted to vote "match quality improved". anyways yeah it did improve. especially since i mostly solo qued. theres those days tho where u actually wanna duo but now u cant anymore...which can make queing a bit boring. i guess i just take that tho for better quality.

It solved the issue of people being able to duo on two op classes with great synergy and come up with the sort of strategy that most groups of random 5 would not be able to catch onto quick enough, thus easy wins.

But then again every match was 2 scourge+guard or guard/scourge which was op enough you might as well say it was a duo with an op strategy even if it was two randoms.

So yeah, problem fixed, but the balance this season was so horrible imo (Rev main) it didn't make much a difference.

Improved tbh. But I was basically always a SoloQ'er so I can imagine that other players felt differently. It also has to do a little bit with the class you play.

It felt as random and wonky as usual.

The significantly less duo q cheese in plat made things feel better but this seasons meta is quite possibly the worst meta ever which made it feel neutral.
