Weapon modelling questions

do i assume correctly that weapons scale to character race size? ie, a greatsword on a norn is bigger than a greatsword on a asura?

what about the adjustable size of your character at creation? does a larger norn have a larger greatsword than a smaller norn? if i made a smaller norn, would the size of the sword seem bigger in relation to their body than a large norn?

That is a bit complicated ... certain weapons on asura changes size between stowed and wielded.

what i want to do, is make a character with a very large scale great sword in comparison to their body.

I think it is only by height so just don't make a male norn ...

It's not just weapons that scale up either.

Basically the weapon will always be in proportion to your character. A greatsword on an asura will be tiny compared to the same greatsword on a norn, but both will look large compared to the person holding it. So if you just want bigger weapons relative to everyone else go for a max height norn. If you want them to look bigger on the character holding them you're going to have to do a lot of experimenting with different options.
