Among the techniques are starting outside the Lost Precipice guild hall (in the northwest) or starting at Shrouded Ruins Waypoint (in the southeast). It took me some practice to learn my way around; some people find it really hard, some find it trivial.However, it's far easier to take a helicopter at night.
