Guild's Origin

Mad Hatters Cadre [haTz] is a new guild with an aim to bring some tea and cosiness to the GW2 raid scene.

I've raided with a lot of groups over the past year and there's always a mix of chill and toxic raiders. Wouldn't it be great if all the chill ones could gather and clear bosses without the pressure and toxicity!? Besides, there's always a shortage of beginner runs. W5? Dhuum?

With that, [haTz] is born.

More about the Guild

  • AEDT timezone; active Weekdays 6 - 11pm AEDT, Weekends flexible/anytime~
  • All raids will be organised using GW2-Raid-Bot in Discord.
  • A raid guild with a focus on fostering and maintaining relationships.
  • After recruitments settle down, the goal is to form a clear group, weekly beginners' runs, and W5 progression sessions.
  • A chance-giving raid guild. Even in an exp clear run, if you cannot tolerate mistakes and start losing your patience, this guild will not suit you.

Roles to Fill

  • Mad Hatters (Officers): Experienced raiders who have at least full cleared a few times (W5 not mandatory). As this is a very new guild, officers will have to rep 70% of the time to kickstart things, including future potential events/trainings/missions/static. I'm happy to chat with you to answer your questions first if you're keen to be an officer.
  • Chill Hatters: Experienced raiders who can be role models and potential static members!
  • Hatters: A few kills and now keen to learn more!
  • Aspiring Hatters: Keen to get started? Join in! Just be willing to learn and progress on obtaining gears.

The Sorting Hat

Other than the role requirements, to join the Cadre, you would be:

  • A polite, friendly adult. Ideally 25+ yr old.
  • Willing to use Discord regularly.
  • Join guild missions (may/may not be weekly; this is a raid guild after all)
  • Treating GW2 as a game, not your life.

First few weeks will just be recruitments, sorting out raid schedules, and occasional semi-pug runs. Once the guild is up and running, there'll be tea, biscuits and, most importantly, boss kills! Send your short application in today!
