I'm writing in regards to an issue I have been experiencing with one of the latest released shop items, the Storm Gloves. For reasons unknown, the gloves seem unable to retain colours in game, and most of the time appear in an eerie, toxic yellow (as shown in the images below). Once they turn yellow, they stop changing colours altogether. Erasing the currently assigned colours does not help. Re-applying them does not help. Interestingly, logging out and back into the game may fix the problem for a few minutes, but then the manually appointed colours disappear again, and the yellow come back. Since it is not a nice colour, or one that should be the item's default colouring scheme, I would argue that there is a bug, or other issue, with the Storm Gloves. I kindly request that you consider said issue and a way of fixing it.
Item: Storm Gloves & Exalted Gloves Race: Norn Gender: Male Class: Engineer (Holosmith) Description:
Just as shown on the screenshots, if you enter Photon Forge while equipped with Storm Gloves or Exalted Gloves you will see this visual bug where your hands are almost invisible and/or unattached to the body. Probably happens with any other Race while in Photon Forge.
Item: Wind Aspect Eye
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Elementalist
Description:
The wind aspect eye animation gets too close to the character's forehead and constantly travels into or through the character's hair and sometimes disappears behind it completely for a short duration. I suppose this is more of a request to have it moved further away from the character's forehead so it stays in front of the hair all the time to give it a cleaner look.
The Grand Wind Catcher skin introduced in the current festival seems to be bugged - has a purple glow that is identical to the Grand Lightning Catcher, when typically the zephyrite wind themed items have a blue glow and purple is reserved for lightning themed items.
Humans' last revenge:
On my Charr, when not in combat, the two frilly cloth wraps of the new greatsword Eclipse are clipping into the sword itself or the back/butt of the char(r) 100% of the time, in all positions. On all mounts.
When drawn, they clip into the ground of course.
It's worse from the player point of view because the wraps move when you stand still and move the camera. (Other people won't see that. And frankly that movement makes no sense.)

Shadow of Grenth sits behind/inside the lich soulders such that much of it can't be seen. Just the front 3rd protuding through the shoulders. This has persisted since Shadow of Grenth was released. Lots of complaints were made at the time, bug reports made. My irritation at having spent money on gem stones for a broken skin grew into resentment after months without response to the issue and ultimately left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I discontinued playing all together. I logged on recently out of nostalgia/curious to ask other players in game their feelings about the expansion to get a feel if I should buy but upon loading and seeing that the issue was still there years later, it just really doesn't sit well with me. I have little hope this will get fixed but there is 0 chance i'll pick up the expansions if it doesn't. I own 3 physical copies of prophecies, each account with all subsequent expansions. I spent an embarrassing amount in the gem store while playing, I WANT to like this game. I can't move forward until this is fixed though. At least on sylvari so far, the Daydreamer's Finery seems to be making triangular "holes" in the neck, just below the ears. For a second I thought the outfit came with earrings LOL. I switched to multiple armors and hairstyles to make sure they weren't the cause, but it does seem to be the outfit.
The crotch cloth and crotch pike on the Winter Solstice outfit is contantly in some kind of clipping. Would like the cloth behind it to be adjusted/removed

The alignment of character mouth and mouth piece of the Warhorn Verdarach (both Musical and the Weapon) is off on Asura while playing/using skills on it.
It looks like Asura characters are playing the warhorn with their nose (actually, it's also a bit misaligned to the right, somewhere between the nose and the right eye). Also, they seem to be holding the Warhorn a bit strangely in their hands.

Since I (and many others) have spent quite some time and gold on getting this legendary, a fix would be much appreciated.
On my Charr characters it looks fine, even though there is a gap between mouth piece and snout -> a solution like this would be much better for Asura as well, rather than the clipping with the face.

The Aetherblade heavy legplates have a hole in the model allowing you to see to the other side at the waist. This can be very jarring if you have dark dyed armor and move against a white background. When I previewed the heavy and light Requiem and Elegy armour, there is a large spacing between my weapons and my character causing the weapons float beside my character's waist instead of the usual sheathed weapon location. It has been confirmed that this also happens when you equip both the Requiem and Elegy armour skins. This only happens with one-handed and off-hand weapons that are sheathed at the waist. Two-handed and shields are okay. Please fix this issue.
Edit: Tested both Requiem and Elegy armour on all 5 races both male and female.
Human male medium armour and Charr male and female heavy armour both face the floating sheathed weapons at the waist. For Humans, the cause of the floating weapons is the medium chest piece. For Charr, the cause of the floating weapons is the heavy leggings. For Asura, all of the light and heavy Elegy and Requiem armour pieces cause the floating weapon issue.

This specific head option from the crownstore has a strange texture inside the mouth. When the character speaks, it shows clearly.

Looks like the effect you get when you equip a Polysaturating Reverberating Infusion (Red). You sure it's not because you have it equipped?
Was I able to help you or give you a hint? Click on Helpful and/or Thumbs up, I would appreciate it alot!
When you encounter a bug ingame, at first you should file a ticket via the ingame command /bug, as only this way the devs will know exactly where you were, when the bug happened.
Sure, but what do you think they should do when a character has a bulky back-piece visible and a back-carry (usually two-handed, but also shields) weapon?
There are many ways to solve this, and most of them will be unsatisfactory in some way or other. ArcheAge has a similar problem (with up to four different things you can have on your back, in fact, although I think it's impossible to have all four types active on one character), and their solution was to create a priority system - your character's back shows whichever of the back-carried items is highest in priority, and the priority is assigned by the player. The downside is that if you give your shield the highest priority, then your glider, the glider appears and disappears as you wield and stow your shield. It's the least unsatisfactory, I think, because if you don't like a particular thing being "preferred", you can change it to suit you, but even then it isn't perfect.

Yea! I would rather have that it just shows one of the items! That wouldn't be too complicated to do no? People could turn it on and off in the settings no?

The idea is, indeed, that the player can turn it on or off using the settings, or perhaps a widget in the Hero panel, since it's almost guaranteed that people will want different priorities on different characters. As for how hard it is for ArenaNet to build, well, I have no idea. If you're designing it in from the beginning, it's not so bad, but retrofitting it has strong possibilities of being ... awkward.

I think we can conclude that collectively, we would like to be able to determine if your backpiece, your stowed weapon or both take precedence. This should not be too hard to fix and does not really require any resources. I suppose that Arena Net are already looking into this though since they have a thread dedicated to this problem. Either way, thanks for all the feedback guys, and have a wonderful day!

I just got the Ghostly outfit from the gem store and I've noticed a weird bug with the flame "hair" - if you're standing in front of certain materials/effects, the "hair" disappears. It happens in front of things like portals, glass-like materials such as the jellyfish canopy in LA, the mad king doors, etc. I've posted some example images and a screen of my hero equipment panel. I messed around with my graphics and didn't get the "hair" to show up on any settings. It seems like the "hair" is either behind whatever is making it disappear, or it's just not displaying because it gets overridden somehow. Thanks.

This isn't a bug. Gliders and back pieces are two separate things in the game code, despite having the same appearance. The back piece cannot be dyed; it will always remain its "default" colors, but you can dye the glider.

Don't you know you're not alone?

Item: Festive Harvest Chair
Issue: For an Asura character, the camera launches too high up when activating the chair, not allowing to see my character in full.

Bug with the recently added weapon "The cure".

Where's the red-orange fluorescent liquid within the syringe? Did I missed something, a quest? An upgrade to the skin with liquid?

Disturbing human flesh-tongue
This specific head option from the crownstore has a strange texture inside the mouth. When the character speaks, it shows clearly.
It appears the usual Tongue texture is replaced by matte human skin. The thought of having the inside of my mouth being human skin disturbs me. That the skin glows through the mouth cavety when open is too a concern.
It would just so appear that the second face i changed to, also suffer from the disgusting flesh tongue. Very unhappy to find this as i am now 350 gems poorer and no closer to resolution.

Armor/outfit glitch
Female Sylvari Soulbeast (One character only! My other female sylvari is fine...)
My main is bust, and I can't deal. It's been a week now and I've sent one ticket so far... please help fix this
The problem is a weird red aura/outline glow in her gear and outfit (any gear or outfit, even her undergarments). The bug is visible to others.
I've tried everything from relogging to changing gear, patching to testing different graphics options. I am not a 100% sure but I _believe _this happened when I fought Mad King Thorn in Ascent to Madness and after fooled around with Bloody Prince's Staff Toy Novelty.
Looks like the effect you get when you equip a Polysaturating Reverberating Infusion (Red). You sure it's not because you have it equipped?
Hi!
Is it possible to fix these clippings: https://ibb.co/icjEMV
Many thanks!

There is a thread for things like this: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/271/art-issues-chars-weapons-armor#latest

If you're designing it in from the beginning, it's not so bad, but retrofitting it has strong possibilities of being ... awkward.
Item: Shifting Sands Rifle [Black Lion Skin]
Race: Human
Gender: Female (but i think it will affect males and other races as well)
Profession: Thief
Issue: Offset for firing/muzzle animation is wrong. this is for all deadeye rifle skills kneeling or otherwise. Should be at the tip of the barrel and not at the junction between the receiver and the barrel!
i'd love it if we had the option to hide our equipped weapons like in other mmorpg's. atleast that way we'd have less cliping to worry about when not in combat ^^
Item: Luxurious Pile of Gold
Race: Charr
Issue: Feet, Head and Tail clipping
Description: No matter if your Charr-Character is corpulent or slim - the Feet do clip into eatch other. The claws are cutting through the head/horns. The Tail sometims clipps through the left leg.
Proud branch of 'The Hortus'.
This actually solved the problem... I can't thank you enough! This was the first time I came across such an effect, I feel like a total noob now (after some five, six years of playing the game)
Cheers mate!
Item: Ghostly Outfit
Race: Sylvari
Gender: Male (largest body size)
Profession: Reaper
Lvl: 80
I just got the Ghostly outfit from the gem store and I've noticed a weird bug with the flame "hair" - if you're standing in front of certain materials/effects, the "hair" disappears. It happens in front of things like portals, glass-like materials such as the jellyfish canopy in LA, the mad king doors, etc. I've posted some example images and a screen of my hero equipment panel. I messed around with my graphics and didn't get the "hair" to show up on any settings. It seems like the "hair" is either behind whatever is making it disappear, or it's just not displaying because it gets overridden somehow. Thanks.
