Red Lantern (toy) not actually grasped by hands

I've had this item for quite a while and just noticed this. On my female Asuran engineer, I was zoomed in and saw the handle (stick) isn't actually grasped by my character's hands. The Red Lantern is held in both hands as if a greatsword is drawn. The problem is the handle is kinda just floating in the air, moving with the hands as my character goes through idle animations. This causes the handle to clip back and forth through my character's hands as she looks around and stuff. When the character is standing still holding it with both hands, it doesn't even appear to be grasped by the left hand. Instead, the end of the handle is just resting at the wrist. I haven't checked it on other races though.
