These really large red pulsating AOE graphic effects are very irritating and confusing, especially when they fill half the screen. shippage.1983 Posted February 7, 2018 Share Posted February 7, 2018 I actually really like it, makes me wish that more skills in PvP has pulsing AoE effects to make it clearer when to dodge. Maybe it's the red that's obnoxious since it does tend to look like a nuke is going off. I do think the visual effects could be toned down though, but I'd like to keep the AoE tells. ArthurDent.9538 Posted February 7, 2018 Share Posted February 7, 2018 It was an odd addition, shade skills always had animations, the problem was that the order used to be effect hits -> then animation plays. Knowing which shades attack with you is something that would be helpful, since currently there's no way to distinguish which friendly Shade that is (unless only one of you is running Sand Savant). Either all classes should have such obvious annoying graphic effects or none. I prefer none. If they would also remove them from raids that would be even better. Or it will be a hybrid meta which might not be so bad. But i do expect them to tune mesmer down some from where it is now in the next few months. IT was really not needed for a skill like that. I there is anything else I would say needed it. It would be mesmers shatters. They are instant activation and really shouldnt be.
