Thief Rifle 4 Bug

Have been trying to use rifle 4 for movement but when I try the trick to make it go forward by holding left click and clicking about face as I press the button it doesn't work like skills usually do. It'll work if I walk by pressing the button while right clicking at the same time as left and it'll work if I do it with another about face at the end. It won't work when autorunning and if I don't hold right click.
